Marine Pro Academy Ltd facilitates in organising an appointment at an approved MCA Doctor to conduct a ENG1 Seafarers Medical Fitness examination, only on successful completion of medical will a ENG1 Certificate be issued by the relevant authorities. If failure to pass the ENG1 Seafarers Medical Fitness examination may mean that you won’t be able to take part in courses provided by Marine Pro Academy Ltd.
Overview
The ENG1 Seafarer Medical is the UK Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) medical certificate required for many seafarers and is widely requested by employers across the commercial maritime and superyacht industries. If you’re planning to work at sea, join a vessel, or start your yachting career, having a valid ENG1 is often a key step before employment.
Your ENG1 assessment must be completed with an MCA-approved doctor and checks that you meet the medical fitness standards for work at sea. If you pass, you’ll receive an ENG1 certificate, typically valid for up to 2 years(shorter validity may apply in some cases, depending on medical factors and the doctor’s decision).

Marine Pro Academy Ltd arranges ENG1 appointments at no profit to the company. All medical fees are payable to the examining doctor/clinic (or as otherwise specified at the time of booking).
