
Overview
Our Entry-Level Interior Package is a full-on 14-day intensive program designed to take career-changers, gap-year students, and newcomers from “no experience” to industry-ready with the core safety qualifications and interior skill set expected on board superyachts.
You’ll complete STCW Basic Training in Week 1, then move into the Interior Route in Week 2 — built around our Superyacht Stew Hospitality Course with specialist add-ons, including an accredited Swedish Massage qualification pathway.
What’s included
Week 1 — STCW Basic Training (5 days)
Complete the internationally recognised safety training required for working at sea:
- Personal Survival Techniques (PST)
- Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting (FPFF)
- Elementary First Aid (EFA)
- Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities (PSSR)
- Proficiency in Security Awareness (PSA)
Week 2 — Interior Route (5 days)
A hospitality-led superyacht interior program with practical training and best-practice standards:
Superyacht Stew Hospitality Course:-
- Silver service training
- Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification
- Barista skills training
- Cocktail & mixology training
- Wine skills training & tasting
- Professional standards & best practice for superyacht stew crew
- Housekeeping and laundry operations
- Floral arrangements & luxury table presentation
- Professional suitcase packing techniques
- Ironing & stain-removal workshop
- Napkin folding techniques for fine-dining service
Swedish Massage qualification pathway (optional)
To gain your accredited Swedish Massage qualification:
- You will complete pre-course theory in your own time before the intensive program
- You will attend 1 day of in-person practical training
- After training, you will complete 5 case studies (friends/family) to meet the assessment requirements

Entry requirements & advice
- ENG1 medical is strongly advised prior to attending (and is a requirement to work at sea).
- A positive attitude and readiness for an intensive schedule — this is a fast-paced, practical program.

Entry-Level Interior Package (14-Day Intensive)
A structured 14-day intensive route into the superyacht industry combining STCW Basic Training (Week 1) with an Interior & Hospitality-focused Week 2, including silver service, food hygiene, barista, cocktails, wine skills, housekeeping, and an accredited Swedish Massage pathway (optional).
