Excel in Seamanship and Safety

Marine Pro Academy was founded with a clear objective: to deliver high-quality, real-world maritime training that prepares people properly for operating safely and confidently at sea.

Every course is designed around practical application, clear structure, and professional standards. From RYA First Aid and Marine Radio SRC (VHF) through to Diesel Engine, Radar, Essential Navigation & Seamanship, Day Skipper, and Yachtmaster Theory, the focus is on understanding why things are done, not just how to pass an assessment.

Training is deliberately delivered in small groups to ensure meaningful instructor interaction, plenty of time for questions, and hands-on learning. The Academy uses modern, digital-first teaching methods that reflect how people learn and work today, including visual aids, simulators, and realistic scenarios — not just theory from a book.

Safety, seamanship, and good decision-making are central to everything we teach. Courses are designed to be engaging and enjoyable, but always grounded in real-world conditions and best practice. Whether a student is a complete beginner, a new boat owner, or working towards a professional maritime career, the aim is the same: to build genuine competence, confidence, and a mindset that supports safety at sea.

My first time using Marine Pro Academy. I attend the RYA Radar Shore base course. Good facilities and classroom. Brendan was very good as an instructor, excellent knowledge. It would be really useful to have a demo Radar system so you could go hands on with real device. Great course
